Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of 27Traits.com ("27Traits," "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. What 27Traits is

27Traits offers personality assessments and written analysis to help you reflect on your temperament and character, along with community spaces called planets.

27Traits is not a medical or psychological service. Results and analysis are for self-reflection only. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you're concerned about your mental health, please reach out to a professional.

Results describe tendencies in how you answered at a given time. They don't measure your abilities or your worth.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use 27Traits in the United States.
  • Use your own email address, and don't share your sign-in codes.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. Accounts may not be transferred or shared.

3. Purchases

  • Paid products are the detailed analysis and the PDF report for a result. Prices are shown before you buy.
  • Prices don't include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where applicable.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, you can access what you bought for that result right away.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Community rules

On planets and anywhere else you can post, don't:

  • harass, threaten, or demean anyone;
  • post sexual, violent, hateful, or illegal content;
  • share someone else's personal information or infringe their rights;
  • post ads or spam; or
  • interfere with the service or try to access it in unauthorized ways.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate them. Please use the report feature to flag content.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and words you post. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content within 27Traits so the service can work. Only post content you have the right to share.

6. Our content

The assessments, analysis, designs, and other materials we create belong to 27Traits. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, sell, or redistribute them.

7. Changes and availability

We may change, add, or remove features. We'll give notice of significant changes. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of technical problems. Products you've bought remain available for as long as we operate the service.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using 27Traits and delete your account at any time. Before you do, you can download your data from your account settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that results will be accurate for any particular purpose or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, 27Traits will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on your results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version and update the effective date. For material changes, we'll notify you before they take effect. Continuing to use 27Traits after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence requires otherwise.
