How it works
You read each statement and answer on a five-point scale.
What your result looks like
Your result is one of 27, shown as a three-letter code and its name — a different 27 from Temperament's.
The free result shows the type's name and its three-letter code.
What's free

Where it comes from
This assessment is based on the psychobiological model of personality, which treats temperament and character as different kinds of thing. It takes its structure and dimensions from that model; the Character test covers all three of the model's character dimensions. The questions don't come from any commercial test — they were assembled separately from a publicly available item bank.
Being based on a model means it takes that structure. It does not mean the results are proven correct, or that they tell you what will happen.
What this is not
Not a medical diagnosis.
It does not measure ability or worth.
The 27 types are differences, not a ranking.
It is independent of the Temperament assessment, and neither result explains the other.
The other test
What the Temperament test is
Temperament is the direction your reactions started in.
